ORGANIC PRODUCTS:

According to APEDA (The Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority) of India, Organic products are grown under a system of agriculture without the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides with an environmentally and socially responsible approach and do not contain Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs). This is a method of farming that works at grass root level preserving the reproductive and regenerative capacity of the soil, good plant nutrition, and sound soil management, produces nutritious food rich in vitality which has resistance to diseases. Organic foods include fresh produce, meats, and dairy products as well as processed foods such as crackers, drinks, and frozen meals. Organic method of agriculture is used to produce high quality products (Fruits, vegetables and other food materials) without any bad effect on soil nutrient and ecosystem. It is better method of agriculture than chemical based agriculture because it retains the health of soil as well as environment and also producing qualitative agricultural produces.
